January 2012
The company, started in 1922 by Alan George Elliott (and his partner Baxter, who bowed out the
same year) in the back streets of London, shares its birthday with two other stalwarts of British industry:
the BBC and Branston Pickle!
A true belief in customer satisfaction through service and stock availabliity has been the company
philosophy from day one. A philosophy that has been handed down through the generations and is still
the major advantage EBB Paper holds today.
Tim Elliott, the grandson of founder Alan, and Tim's son, Matt, are true paper people and concentrate
on what a paper merchant needs to be in today's print market. Service and stock holdings are the
key, backed up by a professional sales team and supported by impressive financial management.
EBB Paper looks forward to many more milestones to come.
